Reservations Policy

We accept bookings during the current and next calendar year with your rental deposit payment and signed rental agreement.

The rental deposit is 50% of the venue rental fee. It is non-refundable and non-transferable. The balance of the venue rental fee, plus a $600 damage deposit, is due 90 calendar days before your event. The damage deposit is refundable if there are no damages, extra time beyond the agreed end-time, extraordinary clean-up required, or other charges incurred. We will mail a check to the renter within 30 days of your event.

Alcohol Policy

If you plan to serve alcohol, we require a Washington State Banquet Permit, and a Washington State licensed bartender must serve all alcohol at the event. At no time may the bar be left unattended. You must post the permit during the entirety of your event.

The person signing the venue rental agreement and the person obtaining the Washington State Banquet Permit assume all legal responsibility for any alcohol consumption by guests. If the bartender is not yet an approved bartender at The Barn at Echo Ridge, they must complete and submit our Bar Service Policy Agreement and visit the property before your event date to familiarize themselves with the layout, parking, etc.

Cancellations and Refunds Policy

If an unfortunate event occurs and the renter cancels a scheduled event, the following shall apply:

  • The renter acknowledged upon booking The Barn At Echo Ridge that the 50% rental deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • If the renter cancels a scheduled event 90 days before the event, the remaining rental fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • If the renter paid the entire rental fee more than 90 calendar days before the event, they may receive a refund of the amount paid, less the non-refundable rental deposit.
  • If the renter paid a part of the remaining balance more than 90 calendar days before the scheduled event, the renter may receive a refund in the amount paid, less the non-refundable rental deposit.

Only after The Barn At Echo Ridge receives written notice of cancellation of a scheduled event shall refunds be processed and refunded to the renter. Refunds shall be made by check and mailed within 30 days of written cancellation.

Catering Policy

All events at The Barn At Echo Ridge must use a catering service.

We recommend our preferred wedding caterers, although you may choose any caterer. If you choose a caterer other than a preferred caterer, we require them to sign a Caterer Service Policy Agreement and visit the property before your event date to familiarize themselves with the layout, parking, etc.

Children Policy

Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult. For the safety of young children, we ask that all children remain under adult supervision at all times. If there are more than eight children under age 12, we recommend using a nanny service to help ensure everyone has fun and they do not singlehandedly burn through your damage deposit.

Day of Event Planning Policy

No later than 30 days before your event, you must confirm your timeline and day of plans with our venue management. Our venue facilitator will be on-site during your wedding, not as a wedding or event coordinator, but to handle building/grounds emergencies, assure guests follow the rules and regulations, and help coordinate your wedding deliveries.

Decoration Policy

Your rental hours include set-up and clean-up time. Our team will set up furniture in your chosen configuration before you arrive. You, your bridal party, wedding coordinator, vendors, etc., may arrive no earlier than your scheduled rental time.

Please note:

  • No decorations are allowed on the walls or ceiling without specific authorization. No nails, staples, thumbtacks, heavy-duty tape, or duct tape are allowed.
  • No open flames are allowed unless in a hurricane-style candle holder, which must be pre-approved by The Barn At Echo Ridge management.
  • Absolutely no taper candles.
  • Battery-operated flameless candles are highly recommended.
  • Absolutely no glitter of any kind, jewels, confetti, rice, or anything that can be sprinkled on tables or elsewhere are NOT permitted.
  • Real flower petals may be used down the aisle but must be removed following the ceremony.
  • Helium balloons must be pre-authorized.
